I got back from Vancity last night, after a 2-day visit to The Twilight Saga: New Moon movie set. Although I can't yet report on the details of the visit until Summit Entertainment gives me the go-ahead (and at this point, I believe it will be in June sometime), I will share a couple of general insights:
* The sets we saw were amazing; more than my imagination could have come up with. I love seeing the process of movie-making, and this definitely did not disappoint.
* All the people we met and worked with--this includes the actors, production people, and publicists--were lovely.
* The enthusiasm and dedication to this film was quite evident on set--they love the story as much as we do!
I also met some really cool people from the online media world: Jen Yamato from Rotten Tomatoes; Gregory Ellwood from HitFix; Katie Bain from Hollywood.com; and Lizerne Guiting from Fandango. We all shared exhausted feet, a bit of dehydration, headphones, gum, and a comfy passenger van. And we all enjoyed the chocolate tarts :)
I cannot wait to share all the details with you! But all good things must wait...
