as far as is it real or fake because I'm so sick and tired of all the crap being said, so I found this awesome analysis about it by A Twilight Kiss.

Highlighting the Musculature with Makeup Undoubtedly, the musculature of Robert Pattinson has been highlighted with makeup by adding shadows under his ab and chest muscles, as well as his pelvic bones, to define them for the camera.

And, although a little spraying of liquid body paint or airbrushing may also have been employed, as suggested by ATwilightKiss reader Razor, I think the canvas, or Rob’s body, already had the necessary shapes. The makeup or airbrushing only served to make the existing muscles distinct.

If you peruse the images from different sites, which feature different angles of the same scene, please note that the pictures from different photo sources are consistent, i.e., if the abs are fake, all the photographers present in Montepulciano during the New Moon shoot should have agreed to manip the abs before they were sold to the media outlets.

For example, a side and front view comparison of Robert Pattinson can prove that his abs are fake by showing the front view as looking really fantastic and then the side view as bloated. Well, that certainly cannot be done here.
