Robert Pattinson is The Haunted Airman

For those die hard Robert Pattinson fans that are counting down to the premiere of the Twilight saga's second installment, New Moon, I have good news for you.

Over at Fangoria, word has it that Robert Pattinson's 2006 TV movie, The Haunted Airman, is coming to DVD October 13th. Released by E1 Entertainment, pre-orders are now being accepted at amazon.com. The movie will reportedly be presented in anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital Audio, and no special features have been announced as of yet.

Based on Dennis Wheatley's novel The Haunting of Toby Jugg, Pattinson plays a wounded RAF pilot (Jugg), wheelchair-bound and confined to a Wales hospital to recuperate. While there, he begins having hallucinations and disavows those closest to him. Co-starring Julian Sands and Rachael Stirling, The Haunted Airman is rated R.

Robert Pattinson: Vanity Fair Covers Him Up!

Robert Pattinson has another magazine cover coming up—and thankfully, it's not some far-fetched tabloid bullcrap this time around.
Mr. Pattinson, I'm told, has landed himself on the cover of probably the most coveted of monthlies—Vanity Fair!
No word yet on if he's even been shot for VF, but I think it's safe to assume it will be out this fall in conjunction with the November release of New Moon.
Vanity Fair isn't entirely new for Pattinson...
He and Kristen Stewart, along with 10 of their Twilight costars, were featured in an inside story in December in a sexy shoot by celebrity photographer Peggy Sirota.
In April, Pattinson and his big bushy mess of beautiful hair graced the cover of GQ.
As for the possibility of an upcoming Vanity Fair cover, reps for the mag and the actor did not immediately comment.
Why do we have the feeling Barbara Walters is going after Pattinson for her next Most Fascinating People of the Year special that airs on Oscar night? If Miley Cyrus made the cut in 2008, our favorite vampire must surely be in the running for 2009.

Robert Pattinson Gets Sexy!

The hunky British actor, 23, strips down and poses soaking wet in a super sexy photo shoot for the new issue of Us Weekly magazine.
The pictures, originally taken for Rolling Stone, were snapped by photographer Theo Wenner.
In another photo, Pattinson runs his hands through his famous hair while brooding.

They threw a bucket of water on him!” an insider said. “He was willing to do anything. Didn’t complain at all.”
The pics, taken in NYC over five hours, were inspired by a 1991 River Phoenix film My Own Private Idaho and James Dean.
Pattinson recently revealed that he “goes nuts” when he kisses a girl.

Robert Pattinson was spotted on the Remember Me set today in Yonkers, New York with a smile on his face. He even waved and smiled at the fans waiting outside his trailer. And you know writing that out is kinda creepy. Having fans waiting right outside your door to see you. I think that would be too much pressure for even me.
I’m glad to see him bright eyed and bushy tailed. That’s a good thing. And lately he has been smiling and wearing those sunglasses. It makes me swoon.

Robert Pattinson talks True Blood Audition, Zac Efron and More!

Last month, True Blood star Stephen Moyer caused an uproar when he referred to Robert Pattinson as the "Diet Coke of vampires," among other, even less flattering descriptions.
It turns out, based on a new interview, that Moyer was insulting an actor that came oh-so-close to being his co-star.
What do we mean? Read through the following Pattinson excerpts to find out...

On prior attempts to act like a vampire: "I did an audition for True Blood, but that didn't work out. I didn't think I would get the role of Edward Cullen, either, because the character is very enigmatic. I didn't want to play the biggest vampire stereotype, so I tried to humanize him."

On Zac Efron: "We met at an awards show. He's the new face of success. But he's all the opposite of what I thought he would be. He's so honest and down to earth. You'd think he's so prepared for the press, but he's not."

On his fans: "They are increadibly opinionated. They have very clear ideas as to how I should live my life. Who knew 15-year olds could be so moralistic?"

On meeting Kristen Stewart: "In the beginning I thought: 'She's so serious, so I have to be very serious too.' And I went on without talking to her for like two weeks. She must have thought I was stuck up. I only spoke to her about the movie, other movies, books, serious stuff. But I felt like an idiot. I dropped the act and we got along great."

Ashley Greene can't visit Robert Pattinson

It's no wonder Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart haven't visited Robert Pattinson on the set of Remember Me.
Rob has been linked to Kristen, Ashley and their New Moon co-star Nikki Reed at various times over the last six months.
When Rob and Ashley travelled together last month they got lots of unwanted press attention.
They are just good friends and don't want a camera pointed in their faces every five seconds.
It looks like Rob might have to wait until filming for Eclipse starts next month in Vancouver before he sees Kristen and Ashley again.
On the up side at least this means that Rob will be able to concentrate on playing Tyler Roth alongside Emilie de Ravin and Pierce Brosnan.

Wiping his nose with the back of his hand, Robert Pattinson looks sharp in a suit as he heads to the Remember Me film set in Queens in NYC on Wednesday morning (July 8).
Yesterday, the 23-year-old British actor was seen filming and hanging out with young costar Ruby Jerins. Ruby plays Tyler’s younger sister, Caroline.Robert recently dished to Spanish magazine Los 40 Principales that he admires fellow actor and heartthrob Zac Efron. He shared, “We met at an awards show. He’s the new face of success. But he’s all the opposite of what I thought he would be. He’s so honest and down to earth. You’d think he’s so prepared for the press, but he’s not.”

Robert Pattinson doesn't need pretend friends

Robert Pattinson doesn't need people to pretend to be his friends.
Since Rob filmed Twilight he has become very close to Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone so he doesn't really need more friends.

His best friends are still the friends he had when he was much younger, the lads who knew him before he was famous.
Although Rob acted alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson in Harry Potter he didn't get to know them very well.
Daniel actually admitted that they weren't close in the press conference for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
He said: "I won't pretend we're best mates or knew each other really well but we really enjoyed working with each other, or at least I enjoyed working with him! He's doing brilliantly, which is fantastic.
"The thing that is interesting for me, is that Twilight is the only other franchise that comes close to Potter in terms of the mania that surrounds it, the attention that the leads get and just how global it is."
We actually think Dan's wrong to say that Twilight comes close to Potter as we think it's much bigger. Robert portrays Edward Cullen so well that we are sure New Moon will take more at the box office than Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Pattinson's girl 'sent hate mail'

When are people going to stop being so childish and ridiculous?!

The frenzied girl drama surrounding Robert Pattinson continues to grow after it emerged his girlfriend has been targeted by hate mail from jealous female fans.
R-Patz's Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart was branded 'heartless' after she was linked to Will & Grace actor Michael Angarano.
'Kristen has had letters from girls who don't think she's treating Rob fairly because she's dating Michael Angarano' a US insider claims.

'The fans love Rob, and they love the idea of Kristen and Rob romancing off-screen. But they don't like the idea that she might be hurting their favourite young actor by stringing him along while she is still dating Michael.'
'The letters, which are being sent to the studio, accuse Kristen of being heartless by dating both guys,' claims the source.
'Kristen cares very much for Michael, but she also has a crush on Rob', the source says.
The threats cap a miserable week for the two co-stars after Stewart, 19, has been dogged by pregnancy rumours.
Meanwhile, Pattinson, 23, is said to be tiring of being mobbed by obsessive girls while in New York and wants to come home to Britain.

Battered Robert Pattinson Starts Filming 'Remember Me' With Pierce Brosnan

Sporting fake bruises and cuts on his face, Robert Pattinson was seen filming some of his scenes on "Remember Me" in New York City on Tuesday, July 7. The British hunk was joined by Pierce Brosnan, who started shooting his first scenes for the flick. Pattinson and Brosnan filmed their scenes at Lannan Academy. The 23-year-old hottie looked casual wearing a purple t-shirt matched with black trousers. He also sported a black backpack during the filming of the scenes. The former James Bond star, in the meantime, donned a formal outfit.

Robert Pattinson Gets a Visit from Diane Sawyer

Putting in a full day’s work, Robert Pattinson continued along with his “Remember Me” filming efforts in New York City on Tuesday (July 7).
After changing clothes and cleaning up following his morning shoot, the “Twilight” stud got back behind the cameras - being joined on set by co-star Pierce Brosnan.

Also paying a visit to the Big Apple shooting locale was GMA host, Diane Sawyer, who reportedly brought her daughter along to meet Pattinson during a break in the action.
Due out in February 2010, “Remember Me” is described as “a drama centered on two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they try to cope with their respective family tragedies.”

Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton have revealed that they are happy for former co-star Robert Pattinson following his success in Twilight.
The actors, who play Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy respectively, appeared alongside Pattinson (Cedric Diggory) in 2005's Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire, the fourth instalment in the wizard franchise.
Speaking at a press conference, Radcliffe said: "I won't pretend we're best mates or knew each other really well but we really enjoyed working with each other, or at least I enjoyed working with him! He's doing brilliantly, which is fantastic.
"The thing that is interesting for me, is that Twilight is the only other franchise that comes close to Potter in terms of the mania that surrounds it, the attention that the leads get and just how global it is."
Felton added: "It's just great to see someone who has been in Harry Potter have a life after it, and a much bigger one! So I wish him all the success and I will see Twilight soon, I promise!"

Robert Pattinson, the mystery man

With the release of New Moon a mere four months (15 hours and 8 minutes) away, Robert Pattinson, 23, who plays Edward Cullen in the series, has been making headlines. These headlines, however, are not to promote his new movie (although they do subliminally) but focus on who the "dreamy" actor is dating. And he? Seems like quite the mystery man both in and out of the film.
That said, have girls fallen head over heels for Edward Cullen OR for Robert Pattinson? Or for both?
In the movie and the book it's easy. Edward hearts Bella. But in real life? It's much more complicated. Robert has been seen with Kristen Stewart (the actress who plays Bella) and for fans? This is like a real life fantasy come true. But who else has Pattinson been spotted with? Actress Erika Dutra, Shannon Woodward, and Nikki Reed (also in Twilight).
Us Weekly reports that Kristen Stewart has a boyfriend (sorry super fans), as does Shannon Woodward. It seems safe to assume that Dutra and Reed were just "hook-ups" since they haven't been seen out with Pattinson.
So what is up with this vampire? Maybe he really is a vampire. Just kidding. Girls, be happy he is single! There is still a chance! And out of curiousity, how much would YOU pay for a kiss from Edward Cullen? (He put his kissed up for auction at an AIDS benefit in May).
As for new moon?
Many who have read the novel know that Edward Cullen makes seldom an appearance. However, Twilight actor, Michael Welch, revealed the following to MTV: “They figured out a very clever way to get Edward back in the film much more than he is in the book” (MTV.com).

Robert Pattinson was photographed donning a high school uniform during the filming of his upcoming flick "Remember Me". Being met on the set of the film in New York City on Monday, July 6, he was seen filming his scene at Regis High School. Robert Pattinson stars as Tyler Roth on "Remember Me", which will be released in U.S. theaters on February 12, 2010. Most recently, a source told New York Daily News that the young star is desperate to return to his hometown in London.

New Photos Reveal Robert Pattinson Isn't Bummed When Meeting Female Fans on 'Remember Me' Set

Despite a new article in the NY Daily News that claims Robert Pattinson is "seriously bummed by New York...and its women", the star seemed happy to meet with his female fans last week according to new photos posted on OLV.
The photos and fan reports from the set of Remember Me, a new drama Pattinson is currently filming in NYC, show a smiling and friendly RPatz posing with women who waited in the street for hours hoping for a glimpse of the Twilight star.
One fan described a relaxed Pattinson, saying, "He smiled for us [when he walked by]." Another said, "He was more than happy to take pictures with the 5 girls that were there. He chatted a little with us and was such a sweetheart!!”

Robert Pattinson Fed Up With American Women

The British and brooding heartthrob (one-part Austin Powers, one-part Richard Grieco) Robert Pattinson does not care for stalking. He does not care for it one bit. All in all, he'd prefer adulation and fame on his terms. According to Celebitchy, the Twilight star (and Harry Potter third fiddle) is sick and tired of American women stalking him.
Robert Pattinson is in New York (City) filming his latest picture, Remember Me, and the ladies of the Big Apple will not leave him alone. Evidently, they grab at him and make a spectacle anytime he's in public. He reportedly feels that Londoners (tween girls inclusive) are a little more laid back (with their minds on their money and their money on their minds) about fame than their American counterparts (or it could be that he's not as famous or exotic in those parts). Frankly, we're a little surprised that New Yorkers would kook-out like this. Though they did almost tear Midtown in half for the Jonas Brothers...
Because of this attention the Edward Cullen-portrayer is incredibly stressed out. Since Twilight hit big screens, Robert Pattinson has had to take evasive maneuvers to avoid amorous (and loony) fans. For instance, he changes hotels every several days to keep the women off of his trail.
In addition to dodging the groping hands of female fans (and possibly their hurled underpants), Robert Pattinson has gotten nothing but a load of prying and conjecture from the American tabloid media. They (we) knew that was dating Kristen Stewart. But then he was definitely dating Camille Belle. We were sure that he slept with Megan Fox. And someone, somewhere was convinced that he was practically engaged to Emilie de Ravin. Not an easy road. We suppose he can rest easy that no one maintains the public's interest for too terribly long without actively working at it.
