Edward Cullen and Swine Flu Scammers

I hope everyone is being careful
VANCOUVER - When a lethal disease becomes a fad for fun and profit, you know you're on the Internet.

On the profit side, officials are warning Internet users to avoid scammers taking advantage of the swine flu crisis by making specious links to celebrities.
The BBB advises steps to prevent infection or phishing.

Avoid opening e-mail from an unknown source and do not click on any links in the body of the e-mail or open any attachments.

Don't believe online offers for vaccinations against swine flu because a vaccine does not exist.

Make sure your anti-virus and anti-spyware software is up to date and all operating system security patches have been installed.

Not all the swine flu/celebrity online chatter is so dire. One prominent website tries to answer the eternal question: Can vampires get swine flu?

Well, Robert Pattinson (or at least the character he plays) can breathe easier these days, as a Yahoo.com reader assures it's unlikely.

"Which Lacks Signficance" tells "Qwyrx" that "vampires would not fall ill as they are immune to human diseases."

So there's no need for Edward Cullen to don a face mask as he spreads his magic throughout the Twilight world
