It was a scene that sent a million teenage girls’ hearts aflutter: of course we’re talking about the big lip-lock between Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan. Their special moment is now up for Best Kiss at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, and nobody’s fighting for its win more than the film’s director, Catherine Hardwicke.
We already told you that Hardwicke welcomed us into her home this week, but we did more than just tour her digs. We also had her break down each of the six categories “Twilight” is nominated for, and give us the backstory behind each of the contenders.
