New Moon makes number one out of top ten selling movie posters

This weeks top ten selling film posters are:
1. Twilight: New Moon
2. Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
3, Terminator: Salvation
4. Star Trek
5. Harry Potter and he Half Blood Prince
6. Up
7. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
8. Hangover
9. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
10. Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
It is no surprise that Twilight is at the top of poster sales, considering the success and hype of the film. With a gorgeous young cast, popping dialogue, a love story, suspense and a great script, this series is destined to be a teen classic. Generation X had quite a different type of hit horror series. The slasher films of the eighties lacked the genuine young love aspect and character complexity but the audience filled the theater seats, sequel after sequel nonetheless.
With the exception of other vampire films such as Dracula and Interview With A Vampire, Twilight just may be the first of its kind mixing horror with teen angst and romance. Based on the enormous success of Twilight, the combination of those qualities make a successful formula
