Twilight Saga fans will be happy to know that the trailer for the Twilight sequel New Moon has been confirmed to run as one of the previews with the advance screening of the Sandra Bullock toplined comedy, The Proposal. Interestingly, Twilight fans who are eagerly awaiting the November 20 theatrical release of New Moon will be giving a huge boost to any movie that the New Moon trailer is attached to as a preview.
Much like how the middle of the road Adam Sandler movie, The Waterboy, saw gargantuan box-office numbers thanks to the trailer preview for The Phantom Menace back in 1999, a potential for a windfall is in the cards for The Proposal. As newmoonmovie.org reports, the theatrical trailer for New Moon was seen by those who attended an advance screening of The Proposal, which hits theaters on Friday, June 19, 2009.
According to newmoonmovie.org, a Twilight Saga reader of the website revealed that they witnessed the New Moon trailer during the screening, also mentioning that the New Moon trailer looks even better on the big screen than it did during the MTV Movie Awards, stating, "I just thought I’d let you know, because there has been a lot of speculation as to when they would start putting out the trailer for New Moon... I SAW IT TONIGHT AT THE THEATRE. It was AWESOME! I went to see the sneak peak of The Proposal (which by the way is a hilarious movie, go see it) and it was the first movie trailer ..."
Given how so much is being made of the New Moon trailer, we're hoping Summit Entertainment releases at least ten of them since this one Twilight sequel preview will be viewed at least 100 million times. After watching the New Moon trailer three or four times, there's not much else to say.
