TWILIGHT vampire Taylor Lautner, who is said to be the star of the sequel, is dateless and living in the shadows of heartthrob Robert Pattinson
The 17-year-old "dumped his girlfriend after he made it big - and now he is desperate and dateless" a source reportedly told US tabloid The National Enquirer.
When Lautner arrived in Vancouver to shot The Twilight Saga: New Moon he met Disney teen beauty Selena Gomez and wanted to go out with her.
"But Selena said she wouldn't hang with him unless he was single, so Taylor broke up with his high school sweetheart Sara Hicks," the source said.
But after a couple of months together, the pair split. according to the Enquirer because of Selena's affections for Pattinson.
"It's got to sting Taylor that Rob's the guy all the girls are chasing," the source said.
"Sadly no one seems to notice Taylor," said the source, reportedly a freind.
"He's incredibly buffed and great looking. But girls are so busying lusting after Rob that they overlook Taylor.''
