With more than fifty percent of the vote, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Remember Me star Robert Pattinson has certainly gained his rightful foothold in the Vanity Fair "Most Handsome Man In the World" poll we mentioned last week. On June 1st, Pattinson was trailing Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp, but thanks to the (as one commentator to the poll put it) "charmingly persistent" fans, Pattinson is now leading - by a long shot (58% of the vote to be precise).
With his closest contender being Brad Pitt at a wide-margin second (11%), followed by Johnny Depp in third (with 10% of the vote), Pattinson will probably very easily take this one home. At least, it seems, 74,000 votes seem to indicate such.
While it is not clearly stated when the poll will close, odds are that fans of Robert Pattinson will do no less now than they have done to ensure that the vote will go to him when it is all said and done.
Other contenders in the poll are Javier Bardem, George Clooney, David Beckham, Tom Brady, Hugh Jackman, Taylor Kitsch, Clive Owen, and Denzel Washington.
Voting, it seems, is still quite heavily going on (and you can vote here).
