Robert Pattinson, star of Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, How To Be, and Little Ashes, has developed an enormous fan-base the world over for his work, his good looks, and his charming candor.
Notoriously, his fans thirst for (pun intended) as much information about the beau at any given time. For instance, photographs are circling the net as we speak of Pattinson going to and fro between Los Angeles and Vancouver whilst speculation about his potential up-coming flicks such as Bel-Ami surface as a result of an interview he did overseas. Most recently, photographs of Pattinson leaving director Peter Berg's house have come to the fore, causing quite the stir as to whether he might be pursuing a project with the Lions for Lambs and Hancock actor.
Paparazzi swarm him at his every step. His name is in the news every single day, and it seems that no stone has been un-turned when it comes to Pattinson's lovelife, personal interests, and future endeavors. Yet, all this seems trivial when compared to one fan's devotion to him.
A fan by the name of Stephanie posted this photograph on her Twitter account. It is of her wrist, tattooed with the signature of Robert Pattinson. While it is not unheard of, or completely extraordinary to have signatures or insignia tattooed on one's body (I've seen the likes of Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon autographed into the skin of die-hard fans, and even the Earth symbol from Dan Brown's book Angels & Demons etched into someone's arm), but is this taking fandom of Pattinson too far, or is the decision completely ordinary?
The world's most beautiful immortal versus a twenty something on the verge of a quarter life crisis: Robert Pattinson's two latest roles as Edward in cult thriller Twilight and Arthur in British indie flick How to Be are polar opposites, and Rob's wardrobe choices make their differences even more crystal clear. As the ever-intangible Edward, Robert was outfitted in fitted tees, tailored trousers and elegant overcoats, not to mention a sculpted coif, that showcased his fashion-forward sensibility and model-like physique, while as Arthur, the actor wore vintage polos, sweats and a disheveled mop that was adorably clueless and very geek-chic. But what do you think? In which role did Rob look better?

Just a friendly comparison here, folks. Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson was on the cover of the recently released April 2009 GQ Magazine while High School Musical hunk Zac Efron will be gracing the May 2009 GQ cover.
Alex Pappademas, who wrote the piece on Rob for GQ, also interviewed Zac. And, Peggy Sirota, who famously took the Vanity Fair photos of the Twilight cast and had Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in unforgettable clinches, aimed her camera at the young heartthrob and made him go through the paces as well, albeit without a partner.

Why Is He Famous?
Robert Pattinson got his first big break when he was cast as Cedric Diggory in both Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. We were cool with that because back then he still had baby fat in his now chiseled cheeks, and he had to wear a dorky wizard costume in both films. Things have indeed changed since. His role as the sensitive vampire Edward Cullen in 2008’s Twilight catapulted Robert Pattinson’s face into stardom and into the high school lockers of girls the world over. He's raised the bar on how women measure good looks, and we're starting to get a little miffed. The British actor is arguably the hottest new star in Hollywood, and he’s a big part of the reason why the recently released Twilight DVD is one of the top five biggest selling DVDs of the past five years. You can thank your girlfriend and her lady friends for that.
A couple in particular grabbed my attention. The first, of Bella (Kristen Stewart) holding a camera, might make one believe that the birthday present from Charlie (Billy Burke) is a definite inclusion in the film (not that we doubted it). In New Moon, Bella receives the camera, and it becomes a major part of her tormentous break-up with Edward. Yet, this is a digital camera, and in the book, the camera is not. I'm sure this remediable, since digital photos, too, are erase-able. Nevertheless, as this is, to fans, a most important scene for The Twilight Saga: New Moon to get right, this photo may give us a reason to believe it shall.
Another, of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella might make one think they might be in the middle of filming the break-up scene also. The look on Kristen's face says it all, don't you think? The break-up scene, to fans of Stephenie Meyer's New Moon, would say that the exactness of this scene has to be, well, uncanny.
Other photos show the rest of the cast (some of whom showed up in Vancouver very recently, including Taylor Lautner, Christian Serratos, Anna Kendrick, Justin Chon, and Michael Welch (see Lainey Gossip's site)) in their gear readying to film other shots for New Moon. Fans of the book series said, quite vehemently, that Bella's self-destruction and alienation in the film must resemble that which we experienced in the book (down to the turning pages of time, literally, as the months flew by without important incident in Bella's life).
