It seems that people are always trying to find some way to fault Rob and who he is. It's very frustrating!

Robert Pattinson's "New Moon" co-star Kellan Lutz has denied the actor resorted to make-up tricks to gain a muscled torso for the "Twilight" sequel.
The British star's stomach has come under scrutiny from Internet gossips in recent weeks, with many speculating his muscled appearance is the result of clever shading by the film's make-up artists.
But Lutz, who will appear alongside Pattinson in the vampire movie, insists his pal's sexy body is down to months of hard work in the gym with co-star Taylor Lautner.
Lutz tells the New York Daily News, "Taylor been training Rob a lot, and that's why he's got such ripped abs. Rob's been working hard. He's trying to be the best he can be."

"I can't tell you. It's a surprise for him," so says Kellan Lutz when he is asked about what surprise he's having for Robert Pattinson on his upcoming 23rd birthday.

It is still days to Robert Pattinson's 23rd birthday, but his "Twilight" co-star Kellan Lutz has planned to give him a surprise. Speaking to Access Hollywood during an interview about his upcoming scenes in "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", the hunk shares he does have something special for the British actor on his upcoming big day on May 13, but won't give a clue about it. "I can't tell you. It's a surprise for him," he says. Expected to head for Italy later this month for the filming of the upcoming "New Moon", Kellan also opens up about him set to be sharing the same room with Robert. "I'm going and I'm crashing with Rob and make fun of him. I'm going to go do some sight-seeing while he's shooting. I'm going to be that straight up American tourist," he jokingly states. Becoming friends with Robert Pattinson ever since they star in "Twilight", Kellan Lutz has made no secret about his admiration for the Edward Cullen depicter. He was previously quoted as saying that Robert is a multi-talented yet humble guy. Kellan himself has, on Monday night, May 4, been snapped signing autographs for fans outside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Then on Wednesday afternoon, May 6, he was spotted leaving an acting class in West Hollywood.

Ontheredcarpet.com spoke to a number of Twilight celebs yesterday at a convention put on by Creation Entertainment to get to the bottom of some of the biggest rumors surrounding the cast and one young star in particular -- Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen).

Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen), Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen), Edi Gathegi (Laurent), and
Michael Welch (Mike Newton) sat down with us in one-on-one interviews to set the record straight!

The Twilight hunks were all very gracious, interesting, comedic and invested in their vampire family. While talking to them about the movie it became abundantly clear that they were more than just co-workers. They hang out together, host game nights at their homes, compete in poker matches at Peter's house. They genuinely dig each other and love working together. So the rumors of the cast being at odds with each other are completley untrue.

Kellan did us the favor of squashing the rumor that Rob doesn't shower and has an odor problem. Thank God! The 24-year-old actor says that he is always asked about Rob's hygiene and has no problem setting the record straight.

"One of the best questions I have been asked numerous times is 'Does Rob really smell? Does he shower?' You know I am never there to see him shower, but I believe he does and if he doesn't he has a great natural body scent," said Kellan.

And as far as future projects are concerned, all four actors say they would like to work together again.

"There isn't one actor in the family that I wouldn't go and do another project with tomorrow. They have all become like a family to me and they are all really talented. It would be so much fun to re-team with them on something else," said Peter.

The stars also shared who in Hollywood, separate from Twilight, they would like to work with. Peter says Sean Penn would be his number one pick. He likes Penn's versatility and never gets bored of his performances. Mike was inspired by Jim Carrey and Robin Williams as young boy and would love a chance to team up with the comedic icons. Edi says he would like to do a film with Daniel Day Lewis or Don Cheadle. Kellan went old school. He chose Robert Redford. Good pick!

New Moon - Robert Pattinson and Kellan Lutz's brotherly love

Kellan Lutz likes to think that he is Robert Pattinson's brother when they are filming scenes.

Kellan credits Twilight author Stephenie Meyer with helping him understand what makes Emmet tick.

He told Scholastic: "She was always there for us. I had a lot of questions. There was one passage that was left out, about Emmet and the bear, and it told a lot about Emmet and Edward's relationship and how close they really are.

"For me to read that really helped me understand that relationship. When Rob and I are acting, I really feel that we're brothers. Without that I don't think I would have had that connection. Stephenie just gave me so much info."

According to the Collage Ministries website, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz are scheduled to appear at the group’s October “Flatline Conference”.
According the the group’s MySpace they are “a GENERATIONAL women’s ministry. That believes in bridging the gaps between the generations. Kellan Lutz picks on Robert Pattinson

Kellan Lutz enjoys winding Robert Pattinson up.

The on-screen brothers are going to really enjoy spending more time together whilst filming New Moon.

Kellan Lutz told Twilight fans at AccioCon: "I view Rob as my little brother, it's just funny because I've never really had a little brother that I can pick on because my little brothers are years younger but with Rob he's just so...

"I feel like he's just so innocent even though he's not.

"You could say anything, 'What's wrong with your hair' and he'd be like (stroking his hair, looking scared).

"He just makes me smile so much."

We think it's great that Rob and Kellan have a great friendship and hope that Kellan can help Rob out when he's feeling homesick.

He really misses his dog Patty who lives with his parents in London
